Hi,

We have a very disturbing problem with Exim/SMTP. Exim isn't sending any e-mails. Normally, you should find errors in the maillog. But not now, there don't seem to be any errors in the maillog after trying to sent an e-mail. And the mail apps don't give any error's either.

I'm out of ideas where to look, so can anyone provide me with some help. Thanks :).

Sysinfo:
- Fedora core 2
- Exim 4.42
- DA 1.23.3

Have you checked the exim outgoing email queue to see if the mail is there?

Sorry for the late reply. No, there are no mails in the queue. Ater a bit of testing (and a hint from someone), we changed the nameserver IP in /etc/resolv.conf to his nameserver (other network). This worked.

After that, I changed it to our IP, which didn't work. Any clues to why our IP doesn't work when put in the resolv.conf?
