False Positive - SSHD Down Messages since 1.691 Update?

We've been receiving "The service 'sshd' on server HOSTNAME is currently down" messages every hour since the update to DirectAdmin 1.691. SSHD is definitely not down though.

Is this a known issue?

I'm having this issue but with the redis@ service. It's happily running tho. Wanted to open a topic for it -- maybe it's something in the logging tho.

Does the systemctl status sshd.service return anyting? It might be missing due to ssh.service not being enabled, possibly due to Ubuntu sshd being socket activated. sshd entry in data/admin/services.status should be removed or replaced with ssh .

If you use Ubuntu 24.04, try to run this command:

systemctl enable ssh

Then check if it helps and if the messages disappear.
