Hello,

How to configure the system for not only the POP3 account are scanned for the spam but too the email forward to the other address email to another provider ?

Thanks,

Well, if you use either spamassassin, Mailscanner, or Amavis .. all emails will be scanned before exim sending it to an approriate address regardless that address is a POP account, IMAP, or email forward.

Once again, an opinion.

An opinion I've heard before (in fact I discussed this at length personally with Meng Weng Wong, who founded SPF.

He believed that forwarding is a problem because you can't identify the original sender so you don't know whether or not the email can be trusted. Here's a quote from the Open SPF website:
Does SPF break forwarding?
...
Yes, it does. You'll have to switch from forwarding, where the envelope sender is preserved, to remailing, where the envelope sender is changed.
But it's been several years and no one gone forward with this. More importantly most receiving MTAs still allow MX records such as those DA implements, wherein mail from any source is allowed but a last choice.

Generally you forward to an address where you have some control, so you can add your sending (forwarding) host to a whitelist at the final destination if necessary.

I'd like to see remailing made available as an automatble option for exim, and also for Majordomo and for Mailman.

But as long as it works, there's no reason to call forwarding a bad solution.

Jeff
