Hi, we are posting the weather information out of a weather station we have, trying to upload every 5 or 10 minutes with a ftp, it works fine for an hour or two and then the domain gets blocked, I called the call center and they told me that also, but didn´t know a solution to avoid this hapening, does any one has a sugestion to avoid being blocked?
Thanks

Is this on a server that you maintain? What do you mean by "the domain gets blocked"? Is the firewall on the server banning your IP address?

Thanks,
no, i don't mantain the server, what i'm doing is, i upload the page to my account (domain?) with my hosting company, and the weather software starts updating the information via FTP, and sudenly the software keeps getting upload error, so i try to logon to my account at the hosting and doesn´t allow me to, so i called my hosting and they said that when you upload that frecuently it automatically blocks tha access for some time, I'm i answering your question?
thanks again

Jerry,

This is an issue with your host, not the DirectAdmin software. Your host must have some software that checks how many ftp connections you open per hour and it bans you temporarily when you go above the quota. I recommend you ask your host to change this, or move to your own managed VPS if you can afford to do so.

Got it, I'm going to try to talk to my hosting first, and ask them to change that first.
Thanks a lot for your help.
