fresh install lot dovecot process, normal ?

I've just made a fresh install of DA
then I runned the #top command and I saw lot of (16+16)

18419 dovecot 17 0 5160 1952 1600 S 0.0 0.2 0:00.00 pop3-login
19463 dovecot 22 0 5172 1956 1608 S 0.0 0.2 0:00.00 imap-login


I dont have any user on the machine just admin, is it normal to see such list of dovecot process ?

Yes it is normal. You can lower the child processes in /etc/dovecot.conf

I always lower mine. Unless you have a very busy mail server you dont need a ton of child spawns.

Lower the value on login_processes_count

Then restart dovecot.
