frontpage extension, does DA support it?

Why should I?

Clients ask for it and Directadmin still includes the module for apache2.

I don't ask for the support anymore, but my clients still need it for some simple websites of their clients.
 
Just make sure your clients are informed that their web site can be wiped out at any time by using outdated software and that you will take no responsibility for their sites being damaged from their lack of wisdom.
 
If it works on your server, then it does. If it doesn't, it doesn't. There's really no authoritative support for it anymore.

If you're trying to get it to work on Apache 1.3 and you're license entitles you to DirectAdmin support you might want to ask them directly if they can help you; look here.

Otherwise note that FrontPage Extensions are not supported on Apache 2.

RTR is the company that wrote the extensions for Microsoft. Note especially their note that they don't support Apache 2.
