Getting mail from Direct Admin email server to work with Apple Mail, osx lion

Howdy all,
Just started volunteering with a non-profit organisation who are using Direct Admin for their mail server. I am trying to get an email address that has just been set up, to configure within osx mail application on Macbook pro. If anyone can help that would be really great! If anyone can provide a step by step configuring guide I would be greatly appreciative.

DirectAdmin doesn't do anything special. Set up the account on the Macbook Pro the same way you'd set up any other POP3 or IMAP account. then tell us the errors you[re having. If you don't know how to set up email on a Macbook Pro this is probably not the best place to ask.

If the organization doesn't run their own server, but rather is buying webhosting from a provider who uses DirectAdmin, then you should be asking the hosting provider.
