We have tried enabling wordpress manager and git in the packages and user level but they dont save, does anyone know why??.. our customers also cant see the iampsync icon in their admin panels.

I know from other threads git can affect this.

Could the issue be that we are on a datacenter legacy licence.

Correct. Wordpress manager is part of the former Pro Pack which is now present in modern licenses.
It's not present in legacy licenses.
Ah, so this is why imapsyc is installing but not showing the icon in the customer panel as well I take it? As I’m on a legacy licence, is my provider able to update to add this on or would I have to buy a new licence, I take it that’s why my provider gives direct admin due to legacy being off sale now.

Exactly. Your provider can fix this by upgrading the licenses, but that is more expensive which is the reason they won't do that.
So if you really require these things for your users then you need to buy a new license indeed.

However i'm not sure about imapsync, but for Wordpress and a loads of other things, I would suggest to have a look at Softaculous. It's way cheaper than a new license ($ 24/year for server and $ 12,50/year for vps) and it contains Wordpress manager too for your clients. And all the rest of it like automated backups. We use it for years already with DA.
This way you can use your legacy license, at least until EOL of MariaDB 10.6 in 2026.
