My head tech is gone for a few days, and he usually does all our transfers. We have a client we need to get moved over as soon as possible and I am stuck with the task.

I need to move them from GoDaddy, and I haven't dealt with GoDaddy accounts much. I have done many cPanel to Directadmin moves as there is a nice script to automate that task very nicely. Is there something similar for GoDaddy to Directadmin? I have searched Google pretty heavily, and I'm not coming up with anything really. If anyone knows of a script that might help, or even a nice tutorial page, that would be awesome.

Thanks much

Never heard of any script. You could hire someone to pull the data for you. Its not that hard really. Just put the web files in domains/domain.com/public_html

I always thought GoDaddy used cPanel; I know they offer cPanel servers, so maybe I just got confused. But you can move the site stuff the way scsi writes above, move the database by backing it up and restoring it, and then you can use IMAP commands to move the email.

(I don't know the IMAP commands to write a script directly; hopefully someone else here does. I'll have it eventually as we're working on offering an Enterprise Email solution, but we don't have it yet.
