I'm on CentOS 3.x (not 4) and recently used a remote FTP backup due to the hosting provider moving my server.

Ever since I've disabled the remote FTP backup, the Full System backup hasn't worked.

I'm not even sure where to start.

I checked all the settings and they are what they are supposed to be, but for some reason it doesn't do much.

The DA Ticket I get says the following:
Performing sanity checks: Performing cleanup operations: Completed
<br>
And that's it. Nothing gets backed up, and I've searched and can't find any errors or reason's as to why this isn't working.

I've even remove the cron job, and readded it in hope of it working.

Anyone had this problem and know how I can get it fixed?

Oh, and current version of DA is 1.24.2

TIA.

Are you writing about the system backup?

Presuming so, I'd guess the "sanity check" thinks you're out of space on your local server.

Check to see how much space the "sanity check" is looking for, and where.

Jeff

Yes, I'm talking system backup from DA.

Minimum disk space required for backup (MB): 4096 on partition: /backup
Backup Path: $MOUNT_POINT/system_backup

Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb3 26206 2116 22760 9% /backup

I've got plenty of space.

Is that what you are looking for?

How can I check what sanity check is looking for? I'm just assuming it looks at what I have specified in the System backup in DA... Let me know if you are looking for something else.

We didn't write sysbck, we use it.

It works for us.

Try running it manually and watch for errors to the screen.

Jeff

those are the errors I get when running it manually. I don't get errors at all when it's set to run by the cron, it just doesn't work.

Sanity check is simply looking to make sure there's enough space on the server.

Try with a smaller number.

Jeff

I changed it to 2096 and it still didn't work.

I don't think it's the sanity check that's failing...

Message again: Performing sanity checks: Performing cleanup operations: Completed

Not sure what isn't working since I don't know much about sysbk.

You might want to check with DA support to see if they can figure out the problem.
