I have a new install of DA 1.24.3. It was setup yesterday afternoon. I had no problem setting up domain info, name servers etc. However, when I tried to use the Plugin Manager to add Installatron to my server I get the error message (listed below).

"Unable to execute your request

Details

The password provided is not correct. The password is required due to the high risk factor of plugins"

I am using the "Admin" password that I use to log into DA. I even tried changing the password, logged out & logged back in with the new password to make sure that it would allow me to login to DA. With that said, I still am not able to use the Plugin Manager due to the error above.

What can I do different?

Do you fill the good field ? because you have 2 field for password :) and if you don't fill the good, he can say you something like that ;)

tried using the passwd field at the bottom of page next to the add plugin button several times. then tried to use the top passwd field just to see if it would work, but no luck there either.

After doing more searchs in the forum, I finally found an answer for the problem. For some reason Safari & IE for Mac do not encode the password correctly in the Plugin Manager. I installed Firefox & was able to get the password to work correctly with the Plugin Manager. I knew that IE had problems, but this is the first time I seen a problem like this with Safari. Oh well...... it works now that's what matters. :)

Thanks for figuring this out.
I was starting to pull my hair out this morning for the exact same problem when I found your post.
BTW, this is also an issue with Opera and Omniweb.
Looks like the only browser that one can install plugins with on the Mac is Firefox...

Just what are you trying to say? That the (probably thousands) of us using plugins are doing something secret we're not telling you about?

If you could give a very specific example, perhaps someone would agree to research it, but otherwise I only know that I've got no problem installing plugins, including Installatron, which I've installed on many servers.
