what is your starting point?
JBMC just installed on your server, you're installing DA on your server, pre-installed on a server (with working domain, etc), control panel on shared hosting, other?
One helpful tidbit to share that could help others know your situation is, once you login to DA what does the control panel look like?
There are 3 included skins: default, enhanced & power_user
The default is similar to what is shown here:

I think most are more used to navigating the enhanced skin. However the Site-Helper website is visually like the default skin.
In case you wish to adjust the skin to better visually follow self-help using
Site-Helper or enhanced to easier relate to help received from the forum -- find show all accounts, click your user name (left of creator name) and then click the
[<your login name>'s User Data] button. Scroll down and you can adjust the skin & save it.
I can't say for sure, I've only been working as admin lately, but depending on your situation, you may not have all three user access levels - Admin, Reseller, User. Clarifying that would help since it's a good place to start by understanding the 3 different access levels if you have them all available.
