Hotmail doesnt receive email.

Hey,

Since today hotmail doesnt receive any emails from my server :-(

Exim Log:

It says its 'sent', but still my inbox @ hotmail / live is empty :-(

Someone ideas?

Hotmail might need the helo name to match the rdns entry of the sending smtp server, the rdns of course has to match the fdns. Something not automatically done on da configuration for public hosting but it is possible with some changes in exim.conf and detailed in a post here on these forums in the email section.

If they don't match your email should still be delivered, but may end up in the junk email folder.

i also have this problem.

all my directadmin emails goes straight to junkmail.

but other emails sent from whmcs goes to hotmail's inbox just fine.

so this is a directadmin problem?

is there a fix for this?

Ask hotmail's postmaster ([email protected]) to tell you why they mark the email as junk. Then tell us and we'll get it fixed .
