Hi,

how i can change the domain name for the ticketing system? The domain name I'm using now is not belongs to me anymore and I need to change the domain name.

EG:
http://domain.com:2222/CMD_TICKET?action=view&number=000000065&type=ticket

Soon, when Message system send notification email, the link will be not valid anymore...pls advice..

My understanding is that the ticketing system comes from the main user of the reseller account.

Jeff

i was own the domain but now the domains already expired and own by some1 else.

Is there any way to changes to other domain names? because now the domain name is not valid anymore. Is there anyway to change the domain name? can be done if ask the main reseller to change other domain for me?

sorry, maybe I'm not make myself clear.
main user of the reseller account probably mean is me myself? i own the server and i can root ssh and have DA admin login.

I'm just wondering possible for me to change the domain name? now the ticketing system uses the my old domain name to send tickets to all my users. (the domain was expired and not point to my server.) Which mean my users will not get to the correct URL to view the ticket details if the users click on the URL in the ticket email.

Try login as admin and then go to the user level. You will see a link called "Domain Setup" under "Your Account". Click that link and you will see a list of domains or only one domain hosted under your account. From there you just add another domain and then delete the domain that no longer belongs to you. Then this newly added domain will be your default domain name if it is only one on the list.

ye,thanks selfwebhosting..

i think this probably will solve my problem.. but i gonna try this later..
because the domain still valid, maybe i need to create another account and move the domain out of the admin's account.

Cheers.

Well, instead of deleting the domain, you can add another domain and then set this new domain as the default domain - you can host as many domains as you can in your admin account. This way your admin account is associated with your new default domain. No need to move it out of your account.
