How can i setup my ftp client.

I have made an account in ftp management but i cant gettingnit working. hostname: ftp.mydomain.com(i have tried the fastdirectadmin.com too.) username is the onne i created: [email protected] (i have tried without mydomain.com too). port 21. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong.

Best is to ask your how for support. This forum is intended only for support to Directadmin license holders, so admins and resellers, not hosting customers.

Also reason for this is that your host can change the configuration settings. Seems what you did was correct.
Not the fastdirectadmin.com probably but if you used your domain name.

Be sure to activate PASV in your FTP client.

If this does not help you further, you have to check your host's website how to setup FTP or contact them, because they might have done it differently or only using FTPS or something else.
