How do you automate patching across multiple servers?

We’re managing a mix of Linux and Windows servers, and patching them manually is becoming a huge time sink.

I’m wondering what tools or strategies you folks use to automate OS updates, reboots, validation, etc. Especially curious how you handle reboots gracefully or avoid downtime.

Here we discuss issues and share experience of using Linux server with Directadmin, the hosting panel. It helps to manage server software: install, update, patch. Beside of that some of us use playbooks and other automation for that and these tasks.

In anyway if you're looking for tools to automate daily tasks, you'd better search in internet. Probably other users will share what they use.
