how install imap on directadmin ?

hi
im install imap on directadmin from this : http://www.directadmin.com/imap.txt
but when run php imap requrment show this error : IMAP needs to be compiled into PHP for this to function

Go to the custombuild directory and then do step 3 on the install instructions.
