How Many Ip's do I need?

I have a dedicated server with several websites. One website has SSL (not shared) and 8 other sites are shared.

Everything it technically working, though I don't think it's set up correctly.

Right now, all users are on the server IP and I have 2 other IP's that are free.
I know I need to have the SSL on it's own IP, but I don't know which one to put it on.

My registrar has all sites pointing to ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomail.com
Do I need to set up additional nameservers due to the ssl?

Could someone point me in the right direction here?

The user needs his own ip addres, should be a free ip as you already know.

I think you can assign SSL Cert to the IP you prefer, and you dont need to change the nameserver at registar but just the DNS on your server to point to the ip you choose.. but... when you set a fixed static ip to an user the dns should be automatically updated.

You could also use some external tools to see if you setup things properly.
