can anyone please guide me how can i monitor the status of outgoing emails . Im sending emails and its not giving any errors but the mails are not being recieved by the recipients neither any error message or mail returned error is coming.

Secondly the logs are not being created. It has been more than 15 days since the server is up and still there are no logs appearing it says that the domain must resolve and be used. Although we've been using the domain for past 15 days.

Furthermore what is the purpose of MX records? and y dont i have any authority to access the MX records?

You can't unless you've got shell access to the system. The mail logs are found at /var/log/exim/mainlog and /var/log/exim/rejectlog, but you have to have shell access to read them, and you'll have to learn a bit about exim (see http://www.exim.org/) to understand them.

Something is definitely broken. Are you a systems administrator, a reseller, or a domain user? If either of the last two you should probably contact your provider for support, as only they can help you.

Which logs? Where are you seeing this message? Do you mean the site logs in the control panel?

Again, unless it's your server, you'll need to speak with your provider, as something appears to be broken.

MX records are pointers to the mailservers for a domain. For example, a large domain may have hundreds of servers, but only one or two that accept email. The MTAs (Mail Transfer Agents) use MX records to figure out where to send the email. If you don't have access to change the MX records then your host probably hasn't set that up for you.
