How to create a closed (listbased) mailing list

Hello there!

I´ve created a mailing list through DirectAdmin and I need some help to set it up.

My point is to create a closed mailing list, as in - only people in the mailing list can send e-mails to the list. Anyone not in the mailing list shoulnd´t be able to do so.

Can anyone explain how I can do that?

Okay, I will specify.

I have a mailing list right now which people, who are not in the mailing list, can write to.

I want it to be the closed one, as in no e-mails from the "outside."

To restrict the the users that can post to a mailing list, just put the name of the mailing list in the "Restrict Post" section of the mailing list configuration. That will use the text file that already contains the list of users that receive the emails. I.E.
Mailing list name: mlist
Restrict Post: mlist
