N neorder Verified User Joined Oct 1, 2003 Messages 336 Jul 21, 2004 #1 okay, i logged in as root and created a user, gave it a password. but i can't login ssh as that user. is it because DA set ssh is off for all users? if i created that user from root not from DA, how can i enable ssh for that user? thanks.

thuskey Verified User Joined Apr 23, 2004 Messages 133 Location St Louis Oct 10, 2004 #5 look at the very bottom of the /etc/sshd_config file. You should see the admin user that you can use as an example. Also the /etc/passwd file should show the user as having /bin/bash as the shell file.
