how to create an default index.html in private_html

Hello,

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but nonetheless..

The index for private_html is: /home/{USER}/domains/{DOMAIN}/private_html/

Phi1.

what i mean is for newly created account, i can customise their index.html by setting up /home/username/domains/default/index.html

if i want to customise new users private_html, how do i do that?

I have no idea. :)

You may want to post DA support and let us know what their answer is.

I don't think you can change what the index.html is that is used. Only way I can think of doing it unless DA comes up with a better way is have it remove the old index.html and replace it with your custom one in the post domain creation script that is run after the domain is created.

As far as I can see there is no editable default index.html for the secure sites. This would be a welcome feature and should not be difficule to implement.

Changing the scripts would change the default for the server, getting DA to include this as a feature would allow resellers to have thier own default page for https.

Post this as a feature request and I believe that it will be included within the next couple of releases.

This is a old thread, but I would also like to be able to change the default index.html in private_html for newly created accounts. Or is it possible already?
