How to Create my.cnf

Dear List,

I do have a Directadmin server which is running on Debian Sarge. I have to modify some information in my.cnf file. I had searched a lot for this file,but unfortunately not found.
Can anybody tell me where is it located,or it is not there how can I create it.

Please Help

nano /etc/my.cnf

(this will create the file and open the texteditor)
put in all your things and ctrl+x to save and exit
