How to edit Welcome Email?

Hello,

At the momment i have 20 domains hosted on my server and now i want to edit the welcome email in order for all the new clients automaticly received the "new" welcome email.

I just have a admin aco****. So i have to edit the admin welcome email.

Any advices or ideas?

I think you need to edit via bash in /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/<name>/u_welcome.txt (if the user is admin or a reseller of course)

Not sure if you can add it to the /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/edit_files.txt file too so you can edit it in DA, maybe someone can clarify this.

There's already an edit function built in for each reseller including the admin, though perhaps the location is a bit less than intuitive.

Log in as the reseller whose message you're going to change.

Click on Add New User

Click on Edit User Message

When you save the message you'll be saving it for all future Welcome Messages sent by that reseller.
