How to open ports ... /etc/sysconfig/iptables missing ?

Hello

I'm trying to install VNC on my server , and in the tutorial I have to open VNC Ports :
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/VNC-Server <-- 2.5

but I can't find /etc/sysconfig/iptables

I've checked and verified that CentOS based servers (including those running DirectAdmin) have the file /etc/sysconfig/iptables.

If your doesn't, then, if you're running a VPS check with your provider.

My file reads at the top:

# Firewall configuration written by system-config-securitylevel
# Manual customization of this file is not recommended.

You can create the file from your current iptables configuration by running iptables-save with a suitable redirect; see man 8 iptables-save.
