We use Postini as our spam filtering company to filter spam out of our customers mailboxes. We have Spamassassin disabled through the DA control panel. Of course, since Postini is a service that we pay to use, we charge our customers as well. Most of our customers like the protection that Postini gives us, but we do have customers who don't want to pay the extra fee and are complaining about their levels of spam.
I wanted to come to a compromise and offer Postini as our best form of spam protection, and still offer a very low level of spam protection using SpamAssassin.
Here's my question: is there a way to configure Spamassassin on a server-wide basis to check for spam on a very high threshold, say 9.0 or 10.0? If I make this configuration, will I have to make this configuration every time I make any large changes, such as upgrading certain packages?
Thanks in advance.
