how to use mojodomo mailing list???

Hi All,

I listed all the emails already, ready to email out ... but i cant seems to find the sent button.

Can anyone advice?

Hey,

There isn't a send button...

You send a message to the list which in turn sends it to the subscribers.

That part is easy, but setting up the mailing list so you are the only one that can send mails. The explanation I get at Majordomo is .....well I have no idea what I'm reading.

A friend of mine told me to set up a moderator address on my domain. So I did and i adapted the settings for the mailing list.
Now I'm getting these BOUNCE-mails, where (if I read correctly) should alter the body of the test etc.

There has to be an eaiser way, right ??

Create another list called "admin-list" or whatever. Add only the address you want to be able to send to your list to that list. Close that list completely.

Then, for your real list, set "Restrict Post" to "admin-list". Then, only the addresses subscribed to the admin-list can post to the other list.

There are probably other ways to do this, but this is all possible from the list panel.
