HOWTO : Apache/Tomcat (at last !!)

Error in starting Apache

Hi,

I have CENTOS 5.3, Apache 1.3, Jakarta tomcat 4.1.30 installed in my server. I followed all the steps in this thread and after compiling my mod jk successfully, i restarted my apache and get this error : "Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/mod_jk.so into server: /usr/lib/apache/mod_jk.so: undefined symbol: apr_pool_create_ex". :( Can some kind soul kindly advise me what went wrong? :confused:

An old post but definitely people are interested in this.
I've just finish installing latest Tomcat (8.0.12) with latest connector and works fine. You just need to adjust the paths and change a little bit the conf files from the initial guide.
 
I need help for this, Could you please help me to install it ?
