is there anybody who has experencie with building a vps node with directadmin containers,

We have a hardware node (centos with openvz) with ip ending on .51 on eth0
and created an container with ip ending on .54 venet0:0
but you say we need also need the .51 ip on the container
If we do this we are getting a ip conflict with the node because this node uses the .51 ip
do we need an license for multiple ip's for multiple containers.
are do all the containers use the same license ip ?

how can we install directadmin on multiple containers with only one license?

I've ask it to directadmin support but they dont have a correct answer on managing this.

john's (directadmin support) answer:

Unfortunately, I have no experience installing VPS's so I'm not farmiliar with how to resolve these type of IP issues.
DA assumes that the IP it binds to is the one that is called out, so it needs to be sorted.

Perhaps ask on the forum, as there are many admins there who do install VPSs and may have experience with this issue.

so here is my post on the forum, who can help me..

regards, marco

Each vps needs its own ip address. Each vps needs its own directadmin license.
