We can't wait for the next version. We have already upgraded all servers to Apache 2.4.4. We have shared hosting clients wich can't login to their protected pages anymore. We need a way to fix existing password protected directories, and we can't wait for the next DA version to be released. Also it is not good enough with a fix for future password protection, we need a way to fix existing sites that is affected by this.
