Hi,

A user of mine his website first worked, now it doesnt anymore. This is the problem: He is using an external database and his site gives this error:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'xx.xx.xx.xx.xx' (4) in /home/xxx.php on line xx

Keep in mind that his website first DID work, but now it doesnt anymore. I had this problem before and I remember that I had found the solution: I logged in to SSH, edited some file and added the IP address to the file and the website worked again.

This is on a different server of mine and I have searched all over the forums for the last 2 hours and I cant find the solution I found back then...

Can someone send me in the right direction?

No, it wasn't that. I edited some file, some sort of white list or something, through SSH and added the IP of the website is want to allow connecting to... I just forgot which file it was.
