Impossible to send emails from Thunderbird from last custombuild updates

Hi

After automatic updates on directadmin, impossible to send email.
The message in logs is : rejected MAIL <mail here> authentication required

The problem is only on 1 server.
No problem on the 2 others.

Parameters to send are :
SMTP port 587
name of server mail.domainname
security : none
authentification : password only

The 3 servers (should) have the same configuration.

I'm seeing the exact same. You need to roll back your Dovecot version to 2.3.21.1-- I assume that got (auto) updated to the 2.4 version.

Different thing.

try port 465 SSL or port 587 STARTTLS

EDIT: check your server config if there is any encryption is served :

EDIT 2: I have checked the domain in your signature and see some issues :

Cert Hostname DOES NOT VERIFY (mail.ecocaps.fr != host1.hb50.fr | DNS:host1.hb50.fr | DNS:server-54-36-122-31.da.direct)
Specially this part : DNS:server-54-36-122-31.da.direct) check your server config

You're right, I just have to add SSL on mail.domainName.

After that, I can use TLS when sending with thunderbird.
