Install Directadmin on a new VPS?

Hello,

I am going to buy a new VPS and use it instead of my current VPS

My question is, Can I use DA licence that installed on old VPS to setup Directadmin on new VPS without problems?

Of course, I just want to test new VPS with DA, if its ok, then I will update DA license for new VPS and cancel old VPS

what things will happen when I use DA license to install on new VPS (that using for old VPS), my Directadmin will be suspended immediately?

I just need some days to test new VPS with DA before moving my sites to it.

You cannot install DA on the new VPS if you dont change the IP/OS on the license, the installation will fail.

What you can do and i suggest is request a demo license to DA (is a 30 day trial one), and once your test has done inform DA and ask them to switch your old license to the new VPS (providing the IP/OS), than you can manually update your license on DA using this guide: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=30

Yes I will change to install DA on new VPS ( just testing for some days)

Honestly I got this in the past and had a temporary licence for 30 days to test somthings with new VPS

but some months ago, I tried to contacted DA support again for trial (temporary) license for some days but I got no responses...so I think it could not work with this way any more.

Have you tryed to open a ticket to DA and ask for a temp license explaining them what's that for?

The way you're suggesting may work, but it also may break the term of use, i wouldn't suggest you to go that way.

License will expire within next 30 days. Just update license to have 30 days before to change IP in it.
