Hey,

I have changed the IP for a customer and I keep getting:

Apache is functioning normally

But they need an IP for themselfs and to install a SSL.

I gave them an IP via "modify user xxxxxxx"

I assigned the IP to my account "admin" cause this is the only person I can assign to.

Regards,
Lewis

For real help domain and ip are required.

Don't tell us the domain and ip if you only want guesses.

I think you have a firewall blocking the http port. The dns looks fine.

I cannot see where that ip is working at all. I cannot get it to respond to anything. I guess the firewall could be blocking everything.

If that's the right IP# then it's either not being routed to you, or it's being firewalled as user scsi mentions.

The last link in a traceroute from my office is:
Code:
lon-vl14-ny60-vl14.bboi.net (66.216.48.214) 173.691 ms 174.011 ms 174.312 ms

I can't get through to port 25, to port 2222, to port 80, to port 110, or to port 21.

So it's either firewalled off, not routed to your server, or it's not the right IP#.

Edit: Floyd and I were doing the same diagnostics at the same time, and we've come to the same conclusion.

I ran nmap on it and the only thing it would tell me is that the machine was up. All the ports were closed.

One way to know for sure is to stop the firewall and see. Don't ask us. Try it. It will be a lot faster.

If that doesn't work then the ip is probably not being routed to your server.
