Hello,

We just changed the IP address and license on our system. No problems so far.

Some users have the problem (like myself) that email does not get received anymore:

- Received mail does not get processed to the inbox of the right user. It will end up in the Mail Queue. Thawing or Retrying does not help.

- Log says:
Code:
2008-07-02 12:29:39 Received from [email protected] H=psmtp08.wxs.nl [195.121.247.22] P=esmtp S=2330 id=00EF0822A4C5D442B4C38053660F938D0187A9A2@primo-nt2.primo-nh.local T="RE: Testsite draait weer"

2008-07-02 12:29:39 [email protected] <[email protected]> R=lookuphost defer (-1): remote host address is the local host
*** Frozen

Eg. "marco" is my DA username and "[email protected]" my e-mail address for the outsideworld.

This error message gets me lost. I'm stuck!
Anyone knows what is going on here? Looking forward to your reply.

What is the hostname of your server? Is it the same as your email address? Your hostname should be something completely different.

Hmm... I get flabbergasted :D

I can tell you what's happening, but I can't tell you why.

The server is trying to send the email off the server, but the address it's trying to use points to the server.

In my opinion, further analysis is going to require a systems administrator to log in to your server and attempt to understand and fix whatever problem exists.

Jeff
