IP setup question

OK, help for a newbie here. I have a dedicated server and 5 usable IPs. My netmask under IPs shows 255.255.255.248 for my main IP.
I want to add my other 4 IPs to the IP screen. But the default netmask under "add IP" shows it is going to be 255.255.255.0
Is that an ok value for my other 4 IPs or do they need to be different values, what, and why?

255.255.255.0 is a default and is probably not right unless you have a full Class C netblock, or your provider doesn't use virtual networking.

They need to be whatever they're supposed to be and the way to find that out is to ask your provider.
