Is Debian 12 or 13 (Trixie) supported?

I tried installing directadmin on ubuntu 24.04 but got this error:

legacy code-base does not support debian13 system, downgrade your system or upgrade DirectAdmin license

is there a fix for this?

i would like some information about this matter. because that would mean that current legacy license holders eventually get into trouble when their OS doesnt get updates anymore.

So DirectAdmin will stop supporting newer MySQL version in the future for legacy license holders and will also stop supporting newer OS versions?

in both cases DirectAdmin forces users into the new license system.

Already stop support mysql 8.4, you will notice that no option to update to this version.

Correct, either use something which will be EOL at some point, or change to new license system. At this moment there is still an upgrade option where you can convert your lifetime license for 15/month (so half price), as long as you pay for it (so no pause option).

So much for lifetime licenses...

Lifetime is appearantly not really 'lifetime' but more like we dont like it, so no more lifetime, so basicly 4k+ down the drain for the licenses.
100 percent agree.. Forced obsolescence. It's not a lot cheaper now to stay with directadmin vs cpanel which is better in almost every way.
