Is it possible to get a refund?

Hello,

I tried submitting a support ticket but the form says my license does not qualify for DirectAdmin Support and I should use the forum.

I've had a server up an running using the installation script for just over an hour now and many of the services aren't automatically starting. There is also no easy way to migrate my domains from my CPanel server where I used multiple accounts to this server where I only wanted to manage them with a single account. Is it possible for me to get a refund? I will rather keep paying more for CPanel since it's easier to use and it has always just worked from the time I installed it. I hate to be this guy but I haven't even used the license for a day so I thought I'd ask since it's pointless for me to pay for a year of something I won't use. Anyone know if this is possible and how to go about it?

Thanks

You can manage multiple domains under 1 account. Even stronger, since you seem to have a personal license, you can only use one account (or 2 when you have the personal plus).

As for the conversion there is a script, but that might work a bit nicer with the more expensive licenses.

However, you would like a refund. That is possible, just use the contact option and send in a form or send en e-mail tot the sales@directadmin e-mail address.

All the licenses come with installation support, so, I'd suggest opening a ticket if you've noticed any problems. Thank you!

The pattern I see with these types of posts is interesting. The same people that cannot follow simple directions or know what services are available for free are the same ones that post stuff like "How do I get a refund?" on a forum. My guess is @hiandbye spent more time creating this post than reading directions.

You sure? You seem like you like to be this guy? Love the name you picked - very clever.

Yeah, if this is the kind of response I'm going to get I know I've made the right decision to not use Direct Admin

With a more expensive license there are still issues with migrating, at this point it's cheaper for me to just stop trying and stay on CPanel

As smtalk already said, you could make use of the installation support and ticket system if you want.
If you can't send a ticket, use the contact form:
or use the support email address provided there and point to this topic.

However, I don't mind if you rather want to stay at cP, that's everybody's free choice.

People on this forum are very helpful. You created a nickname @hiandbye, which I guess you thought was cute. I didn't.

Did you search anywhere for how to get a refund? I did on Google and the first five results answer your question. Between your cute nickname and a post talking about how it's easier to stick with CPanel, it looks like you're trolling this forum.

I use CPanel for over ten years and recently switched to DA because while it might take a bit more thought to install than CPanel, it will result in higher performing server.
