Is it safe to move the "users" directory ?

I had a small problem with backing-up my DirectAdmin's users and resellers.

So I moved to a new server and I can't restore users and resellers !

But I backed-up the complete directory of DirectAdmin before moving, and I found a folder inside it that named "users".

My question is : will coping this "users" directory over my DirectAdmin will restore my users ?

If not ..

Could I restore them back using other method ?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry,

I meant : will coping this "users" directory inside my DirectAdmin will restore my users ?

You can copy old directory's (/usr/home/* /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/*) content to new directory.

But, it won't restore any records in: /etc/ directory, e.g.:
/etc/proftpd.passwd
/etc/proftpd.vhosts.conf
/etc/virtual/

MySQL databases in /var/lib/mysql/ directory (actual for Linux only).
