laggy slow forums

Why are the forums so laggy and slow and unusable now?

It takes a full 5 mins just to come up.

Hello,

I had put an iptables rate limit on port 80, but that seems to not have worked well. (was working fine at first, but likely bogged down once the counters filled up)
I've since removed the limit.. things should be quicker now.
