I noticed in the changelog - https://docs.directadmin.com/changelog/version-1.677.html#show-leave-dns-option - it mentions about the Leave DNS option not being displayed when multi server is enabled.

I don't have multi server enabled, but I don't see a Leave DNS option on the account deletion page. This is actually the first I've heard of a Leave DNS option.

I do a lot of customization on our DirectAdmin servers, so it's possible I've done something to make this option not appear. Which is fine, I'd actually rather not have a Leave DNS option as I think it just creates chaos when resellers don't really know what they are doing. In my opinion there are very, very few reasons to leave DNS on the server after the account's been deleted. So few in fact that I don't believe it warrants a Leave DNS option.

But I'm just worried that I'm missing something. Is Leave DNS suppose to be displayed when multi-server is not enabled?

I couldn't remember having heard or read about that one either, but might also be I can't remember. Having memory leaks lately. :)

Anyway I went looking and found the explanation in the docs (click).
Seems it's only an option to be used with multi-server setup. We do use that so I went and had a look and found it (in Enhanced skin) in the lower right part of the "show all users" page next to the "delete" button. I don't know where it's in Evo.

I don't know if it will or will not show up if multi-server setup is not in use. We have multi-server in use on every server.

The wording in the 1.677 changelog that I referenced, just left a lot to be desired for me.

Removing a user (located in admin level -> Account Manager -> Show All Users) did not display the "Leave DNS" option when multi server setup was enabled.

So was it showing when multi server setup was NOT enabled? If it's only an option with multi server enabled, then why have when multi server setup was enabled?

Like I said, it's all a bit confusing to me. I don't see the Leave DNS option on our servers and that's fine with me.
