Litespeed changed to apache automatically after reboot

Hello,

Something strange happened on my server CloudLinux 7 with DirectAdmin today.

There was a high load on the server. I barely logged into the SSH. After logging in I couldn't do anything, so I typed: poweroff -f
Then I started the server and the web server did not start anymore. The other services worked.

httpd[]: AH00526: Syntax error on line 12 of /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-modsecurity.conf:
httpd[]: Invalid command 'SecAuditLogFormat', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

I decided to update all the services on the server (updates I usually do every few months).
yum update
next:
./build update
./build update_versions

The web server still did not start.

I decided to reboot the server. After the reboot, I noticed in the process (ps x) that an apache is being built. It surprised me a lot, because I've been using litespeed for a long time.

I checked options.conf and noticed changes in it. For example, the webserver from litespeed has changed to apache, php1_mode from lsapi to fastcgi.

How is it possible that these settings in options.conf have changed themselves?
Why did the apache start to build itself after rebooting the server?

Tab: The Service Monitor (/CMD_SHOW_SERVICES) is empty for me after all this.

Check the logs to see if anybody else has logged into the server.
 
When the load problem started and during it I see a lot of something like that in the logs:

Yeah that's what caused the server to stop responding. But you want to know how the options.conf could have changed. Well somebody did it. It didn't just happen by itself. So back to my question.

It must have happened on its own.
Before reboot I also changed the apache to litespeed in options.conf and after reboot there was an apache back.

I wasn't looking at it.

I know for sure that before the reboot I changed to litespeed, and after the reboot there was an apache again, when it started to build itself.
 
I think I know how it happened. Litespeed turned into an apache.
It's not human. :)

I forgot to add that after poweroff I changed the RAM from 8 GB to 12 GB.

Is it normal for a change in RAM to turn litespeed into apache and lsphp to fastcgi?
I thought it just couldn't handle the memory anymore...

I still don't see where DirectAdmin or Custombuild did anything. I see where Litespeed failed to start because of the license problem. "back to Apache!" is a Litespeed message. What does the custombuild.log say happened?

But at what point was it set to apache? It had to be set to apache before it was installed.
 
So this had nothing to do with DirectAdmin or Custombuild.
