Hi,

I'm trying to install Litespeed (I have license and I will transfer the license from the old server to this server later) with this:

Code:
bash <( curl https://get.litespeed.sh ) TRIAL
and I have this error

Job for litespeed.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status litespeed.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Litespeed service does not start. I have tried to install it several times in different methods.

Code:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build update
./build set webserver litespeed
./build set php1_mode lsphp
./build set php2_mode lsphp
./build set php3_mode lsphp
./build set php4_mode lsphp
./build litespeed
./build php n
OS: CentOS 7.0 64-Bit
Directadmin: 1.60.3
I installed directadmin 10 days ago.

How can I fix?

I'd suggest checking LiteSpeed error log. Maybe trial was already used there and now the license is expired?

I installed Litespeed for the first time. I have been using this server and IP for only 10 days. Litespeed never starts. I am getting the following error when starting litespeed after installation.

"Job for litespeed.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status litespeed.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details."

I talked to Litespeed support and they tried to install it themselves, but then they sent the following message.

Hello:
I believe there is some break on DirectAdmin script.
I tried to run custom build to apache, but it failed.

Suggest you log a ticket with DirectAdmin to fix the customize build problem.

I uninstalled Litespeed and edited php1_mode (and others) to fastcgi , I rebuilded apache. Apache is again running, but litespeed cannot be installed in any way.

Please PM me with access details or create a ticket at tickets.directadmin.com, there must be something obvious on this system, just not noticed yet :)

The problem was:
Code:
litespeed_serialno=TRIAL
It should have been:
Code:
litespeed_serialno=trial
For the trial license. Else it tries to use "TRIAL" as the serial number.
