login_pre.sh doesnt work

AM running on the latest version of DA 1.45.4 on centos 6.5 final. I follwed the guide http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=384 over and over again but it doesn't seem to work. Either having any of the ip's I use to login or having it blank when I go to login it seems like it just refreshes the page and never works.
2014:09:07-15:18:27: login_pre.sh: Invalid IP
In the error logs and I know my ip is right so what might be the problem?
 
Hello,

Nobody wants to guess. So if you think it does not work as it should be then we should either have more details from you or see it ourselves. So please either post here more information (including script, logs, debug output) or hire somebody to check it for you.

p.s. if login_pre.sh returns "Invalid IP" then it is not correct to say that it's not working, maybe you wait it to be working other way.
 
it never says invalid ip, it just simply refreshes. is there a log i can attach here that may help?
