Mail Forwarding

Hello,

When a user creates a mail forwarder in the DirectAdmin control panel, is a copy of incoming email retained on the server?

If so, then can this feature be switched off, so that no copy is retained?

If not, then what configuration setting would cause my server to retain a copy of forwarded email?

Using either the old or new standard exim.conf files a forwarder should override the storing of email on the server.

However if you have both a mailbox and a forwarder set up, delete the mailbox and let us know if that worked for you.
