We're having problem in mail not being delivered to system mailboxes, both with SpamBlocker2 and with SpamBlocker3 beta, when using mbox delivery.

for example, mail to [email protected] gets returned with this error:
The following address failed:

[email protected]
(ultimately generated from [email protected])[/code]
The delivery does appear to work on systems using Spamblocker3 beta, and Maildir delivery.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Does anyone have any ideas as to what to look for? I'd like to just convert the user over to Maildir, but only if it's going to fix the problem.

And I'd still like to know if others are having the problem as I can't find a reason for it; I can't see where the address is being converted.

Thanks.

Jeff

I have this problem after installing a new server and using dovecot

but I dont think spamblocker is enabled since I have not yet enabled it.

just having problems

That wouldn't be the same thing because if you're using Dovecot then you ARE using Maildir and not mbox.

It doesn't matter whether you've got Spamblocker enabled for any domains or not; the routing code is still being used.

What are the top five lines of your /etc/exim.conf file?
