since a couple of days i have the following problem:

I installed Mailscanner according to the instructions n this thread:
http://directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14709

On a centos 4 machine, first getting errors in my Maillog saying that some users didn't have permission to run the mail services after solving this i get this errors in the maillog:

Dec 21 12:18:28 server vm-pop3d[12221]: Session ended for user: 'wipi' from 81.1 65.120.124, nmsgs=0, ndel=0
Dec 21 12:18:28 server spamd[26287]: prefork: select returned -1! recovering: bad file descriptor
Dec 21 12:18:59 server last message repeated 31 times

i also see this:

Dec 21 12:21:56 server MailScanner[2994]: New Batch: Found 9 messages waiting
Dec 21 12:21:56 server MailScanner[2994]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages, 12159 bytes
Dec 21 12:21:57 server spamd[26287]: prefork: select returned -1! recovering: bad file descriptor
Dec 21 12:21:59 server last message repeated 2 times
Dec 21 12:21:59 server MailScanner[2994]: Spam Checks: Found 1 spam messages
Dec 21 12:21:59 server MailScanner[2994]: Virus and Content Scanning: Starting
Dec 21 12:21:59 server MailScanner[2994]: Uninfected: Delivered 1 messages
Dec 21 12:22:00 server spamd[26287]: prefork: select returned -1! recovering: bad file descriptor

But what ever i do i see no mail coming in, not in the mail clients not in the webmail. What is happening? can somebody help me

Since mailscanner isn't an official part of DirectAdmin (it's not even required because all current exim builds include exiscan) you might find a better response posting in the mailscanner thread.
