CentOS 7 has reached the end of its life. I am currently using CentOS 7 with DirectAdmin on my servers and would like to migrate to CloudLinux or AlmaLinux 8 without any issues. How can I ensure a seamless transition that preserves emails, user accounts, passwords, and websites? Can you assist me with this process?

ELevate works. Just to make sure that you check the log and fix reported issues BEFORE the migration.

Hello,

I think the best option is to reinstall the OS as Almalinux 9. It is more efficient and reliable if you have so many accounts.

Thanks,
Melih

I´m agree with @kebirhost the best option is a clean installation. I did the same from centos 7 and it was full of bugs, problems with php installations, and much more. You can do a complete backup with directadmin "Admin Backup/Transfer".

Regards.
