Move a secure certificate

Greetings, does anyone know how to move a secure certificate from a Plesk server to DA?

I'm not an expert, but I think if the domain is the same then you can just following the instructions here:
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15

I may be wrong though, but theres no harm in trying

Actually there could be a lot of harm in trying; you could be overwriting an important cert you've already placed there.

xcobaltdude, are you moving a main server cert or a client cert?

It's our cert for our domain, not the main server cert......under plesk it's named httpd.pem.

Got it figured out.....on Plesk, both the key AND cert are in one file called httpd.pem located under the user's cert directory. It's simple to do, ssh in to the cert you need, copy it and paste it into the box provided under DA....and DA handles the rest.

You need to move both the cert and the private key.

Can you identify the private key?

If so, you can follow the instructions and cut and past them into the Control Panel.

Yes, the private key and certificate are both in the file named httpd.pem. I copied and pasted the entire file into the text area provided by DA on the certificate pages.....DA actually separates the key and cert into 2 files....
