Move account (single) to another DIrectAdmin Server.

No matter how much I read and reread, I don't see the issue.

Firstly, the documentation doesn't mention (or my problem with English doesn't allow me to see it) a single account, but rather 'users' all. Or it talks about moving between resellers.

In the sites I see on the internet, I find things with the old skin. Nothing with the evo.

If on the server where the account is, I go to Admin Backup/Transfer, I don't see the same as in the examples.

If I go to the user in Create/Restore Backups, I can create a backup.



If I move that backup to the destination server and try to use it in Admin Backup/Transfer Restore Backup, either with its original name or renaming it with the username, I get the error:



backup-May-18-2025-1 is not a valid username
aicha-May-18-2025-1 is not a valid username

Any clue on how to do it?

Note: It's not about doing it in any way but the official way. In my case, it's more interesting to migrate with rsync and do it manually for small accounts, but I'm struck by how scarce the manual is and how little information there is on a topic like moving accounts between servers.

Login as reseller, there you can backup single users.

Try another skin or Evo skin with Grid layout, much more clear.
With admin backup/restore you can select a single user to backup and same way you can restore it on the other server.

The backup present in the 3rd screenshot is a user backup, not an admin backup. The backup name in the 4th screenshot is unkown to me.

In original server as admin i can backup one user evo/admin/backups/scheduled


If click on Site Backup got to /evo/user/domains/add-domain

if search for Backup get


If go to user for create backup, the backup is backup in original post. Not usable in destination post.

This With admin backup/restore you can select a single user to backup. not exists on my original server.
In this reply, I am playing it as an administrator directadmin.
If I play as a user, the backup it makes is useless.

If I can't do it as an administrator, I'm lost, and I'm looking for the easiest solution for myself. I can do it without the help of a third party.

Click the green Schedule button on Admin Backups and it will walk you through the process. I have done this many times.
